PAGASA Weather Update for Typhoon Henry


PAGASA Weather Update for Typhoon Henry at 4:00 AM today, the eye of Typhoon "HENRY" the eye of Typhoon "HENRY" was located based on all available data at 360 km North of Basco, Batanes (23.7°N, 121.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 130 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kph. It is forecast to move northwest at 20 kph. Meanwhile, A Low Pressure Area (LPA) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) was estimated at 1,030 km East of Visayas (13.0°N, 136.8°E).

Luzon and Western Visayas will experience monsoon rains. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over luzon and visayas and coming from the south to southwest over mindanao. the coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be moderate to rough.
